Burning rubbish and dry leaves is a common phenomenon in Indonesia. It can be seen in
various places, From home. Schools and communities alike burn rubbish and dry leaves
because it is considered an easy and cheap way to dispose of rubbish. However, this action can
actually have a very negative impact on the environment and health. These negative impacts
include
Air pollution:Burning of waste and dry leaves can release various harmful pollutants into the air,
such as particulate matter, greenhouse gasses, and toxic substances. These pollutants can
cause a variety of health problems, such as eye, nose, and throat irritation, coughing and
shortness of breath, increased risk of heart disease and stroke, and cancer.
Health problems: Exposure to the smoke from burning waste and dry leaves can disrupt health,
especially for people with respiratory conditions such as asthma and COPD. In addition, smoke
